Suppliers who join Syncee to sell their products to online merchants can enjoy highly customizable shipping settings on our platform.

In this article, you can read about setting up (1) Shipping Zones, (2) Flat Rate Shipping, and (3) Weight/Price-based Shipping Conditions.

You can set where you ship your products, and how much you charge for the delivery based on your unique preferences.

You can either find these shipping settings if you are in the middle of the onboarding, step-by-step process OR if you already created an account, you have to go to the My Listing menu, Shipping details tab.

1. SETTING UP SHIPPING ZONES

You can create shipping zones based on where you ship your products. Several shipping zones can be created. When creating these shipping zones, you need to add general information like zone name, shipping time, cost, and the countries you ship to.

Please be as specific as possible when creating new zones. For example, if you ship worldwide, please create at least 3 zones with the different shipping times you provide at each destination.

When you are creating a new shipping zone, you have to add the shipping cost. It can be either a simple/flat rate shipping OR a weight- or price-based rate. Let's see the differences.

2. HOW TO SET FLAT RATE SHIPPING

In the section where you can set your shipping rates, you need the switch to be set to the "Use Simple rates" option. If the switch button's color is blue, it means you are currently editing that option's details.

If you choose to work with Simple/Flat rates, you can add ONE shipping cost that goes to this particular shipping zone. Simple/Flat rate means you have a unified shipping cost on each order no matter what it contains.

You can also add an additional cost that will go to each extra item if more of the same product belongs to an order.

3. HOW TO SET WEIGHT- AND PRICE-BASED SHIPPING

In the section where you can set your shipping rates, you need the switch to be set to the "Use weight or price based rate" option. If the switch button's color is blue, it means you are currently editing that option's details.

If you choose to work with weight or price-based rates, you can add different rates that will belong to this particular zone.

You will have to click on the blue Add rate button on the right-hand side to add new rates.

You can also add an additional cost that will go to each extra item if more of the same product belongs to an order.
