In each of your catalogs, you will find a Catalog settings menu, where you can set different update upload options that would apply to the whole catalog.
Please note, that these settings depend on the e-commerce platform you have and may be different from one another. Some might not be available for the platform you have your store on.
The first section that you see is the “Update options”, in this part you can set the fields that you want to update on a regular basis.
What shall we do with the products that are not available?
If a product is not available at the supplier's end, you can manage it in different ways
Hide the product -> It will remain in your store hidden, your customers will not see it but will still count as a managed product
Set the quantity to 0 -> It will be visible in your store for your customers as out of stock product
Delete -> It will be deleted automatically from your store during the catalog sync
What shall we do with the products that have 0 quantity?
If a product gets out of stock at the supplier's end, you have the following options

The second section of the Catalog settings menu is the Basic mapping settings part. In this section you have different setting options based on the platform you have the store on.
Upload new products
Here you can give permission to the catalog to upload any new products or to just update your already uploaded products
This allows you to select how you want to upload the products to your store. We can upload them with a “Visible” or “Not visible” status.
Charge taxes on these products
If it is enabled, it means that in your store, tax will be added to the products' prices based on your store settings at checkout
If this setting is disabled, the tax will not be added to the prices at checkout
If you enable this option and the suppliers you work with have backorder enabled as well, your customers will be able to place orders for out-of-stock products as well and you will be able to forward them to the suppliers
Here you can set the weight unit that you want to use in your store. If you set the weight unit to grams (g) and the product's weight is in kilograms (kg) we will convert the weight when we upload the products to your store.
Point of Sale visibility
